Southeast Venture: A Local Commercial Design Firm

 In Industry Insights and Trends

Whether you are a true Nashville local or are new to the area, you have probably come across one – if not several – of Southeast Venture’s commercial design projects, which span from Nashville’s growing East Nashville and Germantown neighborhoods to the popular 12 South and Nations districts, and even Franklin, Tennessee.

But how might you recognize Southeast Venture’s signature?

As a locally-owned and operated design firm, Southeast Venture has a genuine interest in both the preservation and growth of our city, which is why we actively pursue revitalization and urban redevelopment projects waiting to be dusted-off and reclaimed by commercial innovators.

A wonderful example of such community planning efforts is L+L Marketplace. By reimagining the possibilities for a former 1930’s era hosiery mill on Charlotte Avenue, Southeast Venture converted owner and developer Tamay Ozari’s 55,000 square foot historic building into an “open mall” frequented by locals and tourists alike. Now known for its historic yet fresh shopping experience, L+L Marketplace features boutiques, eateries, and even lifestyle services (Bend and Zen Hot Yoga, the Collective 615 workspace, and Cyclebar, to name a few).

Projects such as L+L Marketplace highlight the intersection of our firm’s three commercial disciplines: real estate, design, and development.

What Is Southeast Venture’s Design Inspiration?

Our design team at Southeast Venture excels in architecture, interior design, and master planning services. And by bringing together our team of experts, Southeast Venture does not merely visualize a site’s potential with fresh design – we also provide unique and innovative solutions for our community’s needs.

What is a good design if it does not meet the needs of our clients or, moreso, that of their customers or patients? This is why our eye for design requires a larger lens.

Our designs at Southeast Venture aim to do the following for the greater Nashville community, if not a combination:

  1. Reflect neighborhoods and consider the impact of new developments in their communities.
  2. Optimize the value of real estate and increase the profitability of businesses.
  3. Encourage locals and tourists to engage in shopping, dining, and lifestyle services.
  4. Revitalize buildings, while maintaining architectural integrity, for modern purposes.
  5. Create spaces to our client’s specifications while also shaping them to their optimal purpose.
