Residents Begin Moving into Silo Cottages at Silo Bend
The second phase of The Nations community is complete
Southeast Venture announced today that all units have closed at Silo Cottages, a subdivision of 49 single-family homes and townhomes in the Silo Bend community in The Nations, and residents are expected to begin moving in immediately.
Developed by Evergreen Real Estate, Silo Cottages is part of the second phase of the 38-acre Silo Bend development master-planned by Southeast Venture. Residents have already moved into the other part of the development’s second phase: the 103-unit condo complex Silo House.
“It’s very exciting to see the next step of this project come to fruition,” said Southeast Venture broker Lee White. “As the units fill up with residents, Silo Bend is beginning to feel like a true community.”
The first phase of the Silo Bend community consisted of The Flats at Silo Bend, featuring 193 apartment units and 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, which is now 94 percent leased. The mixed-use development also includes Silo Studios, a 70,000+ square foot former lumber mill being converted to office, retail and restaurant space.
The community gets its name from its location along a bend of the Cumberland River and the large concrete silo found on the property.
Highland Building Group was the general contractor for this phase of the community.
