Southeast Venture Closes on Land for Next Phase of Silo Bend
This phase of The Nations development entails 165-unit condo project
Southeast Venture announced today that it has sold the next parcel of land in the 38-acre Silo Bend development in The Nations – master-planned by Southeast Venture. Evergreen Real Estate will be developing a 165-unit, 140,000-square-foot condominium building to be called Silo West.
“We’re honored to be part of such a successful new development in Nashville,” said Aaron White principal at Evergreen. “Condos previously developed at Silo Bend have sold quickly and we foresee the same level of demand for Silo West.”
The community already consists of a sold-out, 103-unit condominium complex known as Silo House, 49 sold-out single-family homes and townhomes known as Silo Cottages, and the 193-unit apartment complex Flats at Silo Bend (90% leased), which includes 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail (30% leased). Another key component of the development is Silo Studios, a 70,000+ square foot former lumber mill being converted to office, retail and restaurant space – soon to be completed.
“It’s very rewarding to witness the progress of such a large undertaking as this project,” said Southeast Venture broker Lee White, who oversaw the land sale. “The development has transformed The Nations neighborhood, and we can’t wait to see how the community continues to develop.”
The Silo Bend community gets its name from its location along a bend of the Cumberland River and the large concrete silo found on the east end of the property.
