Chris Host Joins Southeast Venture as Senior Development Manager
NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 27, 2025 – Southeast Venture welcomes Chris Host to its growing Development Management team. With nearly 15 years of experience in construction and development, Host brings a strong foundation in both project delivery and client service.
Prior to joining Southeast Venture, Host served as a Senior Project Manager with Yates Construction, where he led a 12-story hospitality project in downtown Nashville. He also spent more than a decade at H.G. Hill Realty Company, managing the design and construction of mixed-use, office, and retail developments across Nashville. In addition to delivering new developments, he worked closely with tenants and property managers on capital improvements, lease exhibits, and buildout coordination—experience that directly informs his client-first approach to development management.
With Southeast Venture, Host will support clients through every phase of the development process—from early planning and team selection to design coordination and construction oversight. He will leverage his experience overseeing complex ground-up projects, managing tenant buildouts, navigating lease negotiations, and coordinating with design teams, contractors, and community stakeholders to guide projects from concept to completion.
“I’ve collaborated with Southeast Venture on past projects and always admired their team-oriented approach and strong client focus,” said Host. “I’m excited to be part of a group that values thoughtful, relationship-driven development and brings that mindset to everything they do.”
“Chris is a great fit for our team,” said Dillard Adams Jr., Director of Development Management Services. “His experience as both an owner’s rep and contractor gives him a well-rounded understanding of the development process. He’s thoughtful, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven—exactly the kind of advocate we want on our clients’ projects.”
Host holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction and Land Development from Mississippi State University and has been active in Nashville’s real estate community for more than a decade.
