Silo House at Silo Bend Ready for Occupancy
The second phase of The Nations community is nearing completion
Southeast Venture announced today that Silo House, the 103-unit condo complex in the Silo Bend community in The Nations, is ready for occupancy. All of the units are under contract, and residents are expected to move in over the coming weeks.
Developed by Evergreen Real Estate, Silo House – along with the 49 cottages and townhomes at Silo Park – is part of the second phase of the 38-acre Silo Bend development master-planned by Southeast Venture. The Silo Park cottages are targeted to be ready for occupancy next month.
“This is a huge milestone in the second phase of the project, and the community is coming together really nicely,” said Southeast Venture broker Lee White. “All signs point to Silo Bend being a very successful development.”
The first phase of the Silo Bend community consisted of The Flats at Silo Bend, featuring 193 apartment units and 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, which is now 94 percent leased. The mixed-use development also includes Silo Studios, a 70,000+ square foot former lumber mill being converted to office, retail and restaurant space.
The community gets its name from its location along a bend of the Cumberland River and the large concrete silo found on the property.
Highland Building Group is serving as the general contractor for this phase of the community.
